WORK EXPERIENCE

CISCO ThousandEyes

My journey at ThousandEyes began in 2012 as one of the earliest employees (#8), joining as a Front-End Software Engineer. In this role, I was instrumental in shaping the company’s digital presence from the ground up, leveraging my expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP to build responsive, mobile-first interfaces that prioritized user experience. This foundational work laid the groundwork for the company’s rapid growth and eventual acquisition by Cisco in 2020.

As the company evolved, so did my responsibilities. Transitioning to Web Developer and subsequently Senior Web Developer, I expanded my focus to include web performance optimization, full-stack web development with Java, MySQL, Spring Framework, Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns, Jenkins Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), Gradle build systems, Grunt automation, MarTech integrations and the implementation of QA and Accessibility testing tools. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, I played a pivotal role in setting up the foundations for a scalable and reliable web platform to support global growth.

In 2019, I stepped into the role of Senior Manager of Web Strategy, where I led initiatives that integrated digital marketing, SEO, and analytics to drive user engagement and conversion. Following Cisco’s acquisition of ThousandEyes, I was appointed Head of Global Web Strategy in 2021. In this role, I oversee the strategic direction of our web properties, aligning them with overarching business objectives and ensuring they effectively communicate our value proposition to a diverse, international audience, supporting the ThousandEyes product portfolio.

Throughout my tenure of over 13 years, I’ve demonstrated continued commitment to innovation, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. My entrepreneurial spirit has been a driving force in transforming the ThousandEyes web presence into a dynamic, resilient, reliable and user-centric web platform, that supports the company’s global growth and expansion within Cisco’s ecosystem.
